
Terms of service
Lila’s Kitchen (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides shared commercial kitchen space at 887 E. Park Ave, Port Townsend Business Park. These Terms govern your access to and use of our facilities and website (the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter a binding agreement.
Use of our Service is for lawful business activities only—such as recipe prep, catering, or vendor production.
2. License to Use Facilities
Lila’s grants you a revocable license to use shared kitchen space, commercial equipment, storage areas, and any included amenities during your reserved time.
You agree to follow all posted rules, safety protocols, and scheduling guidelines.
3. User Conduct & Sanitation
You and anyone working under your account must maintain cleanliness, store items securely, and follow health/safety regulations.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in immediate suspension of access.
4. Permits & Compliance
You are responsible for maintaining all required business licenses, health permits, food handler certifications, and insurance coverage.
Proof of such documentation may be requested. Non-compliance may result in termination of access.
5. Scheduling & Cancellation
Use of kitchen space must be scheduled through our booking system in advance.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges. We reserve the right to modify or cancel reservations with notice, and may offer alternative booking times.
6. Fees & Payment
Booking fees and schedules are set via our website or rental agreement and must be paid promptly.
Additional charges may apply for cleanup, extra time, or equipment damage. All fees must be paid within 14 days of invoice.
7. Equipment Use & Liability
Kitchen equipment is used at your own risk. Report any issues immediately.
You are responsible for loss, damage, or misuse of equipment while in use or in your assigned space.
8. Intellectual Property
You agree not to reproduce or distribute proprietary content from Lila’s Kitchen website or materials without written permission.
9. Indemnification & Release
You agree to indemnify Lila’s Kitchen and its staff from claims arising out of your use of the facility, including property damage, injury, or regulatory violations.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State.
Any dispute not resolved through friendly negotiation may be submitted to binding arbitration in Jefferson County, WA.
11. Modifications & Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top will reflect revisions. Continued use implies acceptance of changes.
12. Severability & Assignment
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
You may not assign or transfer your rights without our written consent.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, plus any signed use or membership agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lila’s Kitchen—superseding all prior understandings.
